Anadolu Atesi - Fire Of Anatolia European Tour
Age Limit: 7+
The Fire of Anatolia continues to burn!
The basic concept of the Fire of Anatolia is the meeting of civilizations. It is a dance portrait that aims to bring together eastern and western cultures and gives universal messages of peace. By synthesizing folk dances with ballet, modern dance and other disciplines of dance, it offers the world a show of modern standards, a cultural feast. The Fire of Anatolia, which takes its source from the thousands of years of mythological and cultural history of Anatolia, is an original project that includes 3000 folk dance figures and folk music compiled from almost every region. The project, signed by Mustafa Erdoğan, aims to introduce the fire of Anatolia's thousands of years of culture and history mosaic blended with peace to the whole world.
In 1999, Mustafa Erdoğan took the first step towards realizing a dream that had been years in the making, and started the project, formerly known as Sultan's of the Dance. First, “dancers wanted” advertisements were placed in newspapers. 90 young people were selected among 750 candidates and a year and a half of hard work began. Work lasted 8, sometimes 16 hours a day... Costumes were prepared, music was finalized. They worked with aesthetic exercise, dietician and massage specialists. Stretch and yoga were practiced. The work focused on folk dance steps, ballet and modern dance. Dancers took theoretical courses on the notation of Anatolian rhythms.
And on May 3, 2001, it is planned to take the stage for 3-4 performances and then to be staged abroad.
