        Biography

        İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi Sinema Televizyon Bölümü mezunudur. Ünlü oyuncu Şahan Gökbakar'ın kardeşidir.

        Birçok sinema filminin yönetmenliğini ve senaristliğini yapmıştır. 2006 yılındaki 13. Altın Koza Film Festivali'nde yönetmenliğini yaptığı Gen filmi ile Umut Veren Genç Yönetmen Ödülü'nü kazanmıştır.
