        İstanbul doğumlu Ermeni entelektüel Eremya Çelebi Kömürciyan’ın 17. yüzyılda yazdığı seyahatnameden esinlenen Ah Gözel İstanbul, Kömürciyan’ın üç yüz yıllık rotasının izini bugünün İstanbul’unda sürüyor. Yazarın seyretme, izleme ve bakma zevkleriyle geliştirdiği zamanının ötesindeki ilişki üzerine düşünen bu yaratıcı belgesel, seyirciye görsel bir seyahatname sunuyor. İstanbul Tarihi: 17. Yüzyılda İstanbul kitabında Kömürciyan, okuyucuya adeta elinde bir kamera varmış gibi seslenir. Kömürciyan’ın “kamera gözünü” bugünün İstanbul’una çevirdiğimizde, bu kadim şehrin çok yönlü görsel tarihini keşfetmek için önümüze sayısız imkân serilir.
