        Faruk, Aslı Özge’nin gerçek mekânlarda çekilen, gerçek karakterler ve olaylara dayanan yeni filmi, sadece kentsel dönüşüm ve nezihleştirmenin etkilerini değil, bir baba-kız ilişkisinin karmaşıklıklarını da gözler önüne seriyor. Berlin Film Festivali’nde Türkiye’den gösterilen tek uzun metrajlı filmin ana kahramanı, 90’lı yaşlarındaki, filme adını veren Faruk. On yıllardır oturduğu apartmanın yıkımı yaklaşırken Faruk, kaçınılmaz sonu geciktirme umuduyla bina yönetimi toplantılarına katılır. Kızının bu konu üzerine çektiği filmin ana kahramanına dönüştüğündeyse gerçek ile kurgu yavaş yavaş iç içe geçmeye başlar.
