        John Lee Hancock'un yönetmenliğini üstlendiği, Michael Keaton'ın başrolünde olduğu The Founder, ünlü fast food zincirinin kurucusu Ray Kroc'un hikâyesini anlatıyor.

        Hikaye; Amerika'da yaşayan Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton) adlı girişimci ruhlu bir mikser satıcısının normalin üstünde sipariş alması ve buradaki potansiyeli fark etmesiyle başlıyor.

        Kroc; Mc Donald kardeşlerin Kaliforniya'daki restoranına giderek ve keşif yapar. Buradaki yoğun talep karşısında büyük bir plan kurar ve bunu hayata geçirmek için aslında yapmayacağı şey yoktur.
