        Oyuncu Ufuk Bayraktar'ın yönetmenliğe ve senaristliğe soyunduğu ilk uzun metraj.

        Saniye, kocası Süleyman, çocukları Hikmet, Yılmaz, Mehmet ve Asiye ile birlikte 1950'lerde dağ yamacına kurulmuş birkaç haneli bir köyde yaşamaktadırlar. Fakat ailenin derme çatma evlerindeki huzur yaşamı Saniye'nin vereme yakalanmasıyla derinden sarsılır. Saniye öleceğine o kadar inanır ki kendisinden sonra çocuklarına ve kocasına bakması için Sülayman'ı kısır bir kadınla evlenmeye ikna eder. Ama tedavi süreci başarılı geçer ve Saniye altı ay sonra evine sağlıklı bir kadın olarak geri döner. Bu ev artık iki kadının yuvası olacaktır...
