        Who is Leyla Yılmaz?

        Biography

        Leyla Yılmaz Bursa’da doğdu. İstanbul Üniversitesi Arkeoloji Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. New York Üniversitesi'nde (NYU) sinema eğitimine devam etti. 2006 yılında Fikri Görsel Sanatlar isimli platformu kurdu. İlk filmi “Bir Avuç Deniz”i 2011 yılında çekti. Antalya Film Festivalinde Seyirci Ödülü kazanan “Bilmemek”, yönetmenin ikinci filmidir.
