BiographyDoğma büyüme Ankaralı olan İpek; tiyatroya ilk olarak lisede, edebiyat öğretmeninin bir tiyatro gösterisinde oynaması teklifiyle başladı. Lisedeyken kurslara, profesyonel eğitimlere giderek devam etti. Altındağ Belediyesinin tiyatro kurslarına gitti. Anadolu Sanat Merkezi Çocuk Tiyatrosunda ve Gökkuşağı Oyuncularında çalıştı. 1990 yılında Maksim Gorki'nin Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu (AST) tarafından sahnelenen bir oyununu izledikten sonra topluluğa girmeye karar verdi. 1991 yılında AST'nin kadrosuna girdi ve topluluğun birçok oyununda yer aldı. Bilkent Üniversitesi Müzik ve Sahne Sanatları Fakültesi Tiyatro Bölümünden mezun oldu.
