BiographyOrta eğitimini, Kartal Anadolu Lisesi'nde tamamladıktan sonra. Lisans eğitimini, 1987 yılında Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi'nde tamamladı. Profesyonel tiyatro hayatına, 1987 de Trabzon Devlet Tiyatrosu’nda başladı. 1990-91 sezonunda İstanbul Devlet Tiyatrosu'na atandı. 1992-93 sezonunda İstanbul Antalya’ya yerleşti ve meslek hayatına Antalya Devlet Tiyatrosu'nda devam etti. Akdeniz Üniversitesi'nin Tiyatro kulübünü yönetmen olarak çalıştırdı. Ayrıca, Antalaya Büyükşehir Belediye Tiyatrosu'nda yönetmenlik yaptı. 2010\2011 sezonunda, Bedensiz Kadın oyunu ile tekrar İstanbul Devlet Tiyatrosu'na tayin oldu. Tiyatro aktörlüğünün yanı sıra, Sinema ve Televizyon çalışmalarıda yapmıştır. Rol aldığı Bahtı Kara filmi ile birçok ödüle aday gösterilmiş ve ödül sahibi olmuştur. Aynı zamanda oyuncu Serhat Özcan'ın kardeşidir.
