        Korhan Uğur'un yönettiği Cenaze İşleri'nde, belediyede kimsesizler mezarlığından sorumlu olarak çalışan Orhan karakterinin başına gelen talihsiz olaylar konu ediniyor.

        Orhan belediyede cenaze işleri görevlisi olarak çalışır. Kimsesizler mezarlığından da sorumludur. Sevgilisi Serpil'le evlenmek ister; fakat parasızlıktan evlenemez.

        Orhan'ın arkadaşı Rafet, bir cesedi ortadan kaldırmak için Orhan'a gelir. Para karşılığı cesedi kimsesizler mezarlığına gömmesini ister. Orhan'ın vicdanı rahat etmez; ancak alacağı parayla Serpil'le evlenebileceğini düşünür. İstemeyerek de olsa kabul eder. Adamı gömeceği sırada, adamın ölmediğini fark etmesiyle işler karışır.
