        Osmanlı Subayı film details

        Oyuncu kadrosunda Haluk Bilginer ve Selçuk Yöntem gibi isimlerin de bulunduğu Osmanlı Subayı, 1. Dünya Savaşı sırasında, Van'da tanıştığı bir Osmanlı subayına aşık olan hemşire Lillie'nin hikâyesini anlatıyor.

        Lillie (Hera Hilmar) Jude (Josh Hartnett) ile tanışıp, 60 gün süren zorlu bir yolculuk ile önce İstanbul'a ardından Doğu Anadolu'ya gider. Melih Paşa ( Selçuk Yöntem ) onu İstanbul'dan yanında Türk Subay İsmail (Michiel Huisman) ile birlikte Doğu'ya yollar. Yardım götürdüğü hastanenin Başhekimi Woodruff (Sir Ben Kingsley) hastanenin de bulundukları coğrafyanın da bir kadına uygun olmadığını, geri dönmesini söyler. Komutan Halil Bey (Haluk Bilginer)'in de farklı bir gerekçeyle Lillie'nin kalmasına itirazı vardır. Ancak genç kadın tüm itirazlara rağmen savaşın eşiğindeki bölgede ve iki aşk arasında kalacaktır.
