        2010 yapımı Çoğunluk filmiyle adından söz ettiren Seren Yüce'nin yazıp yönettiği Rüzgarda Salınan Nilüfer, yönetmenin ikinci uzun metraj filmi olma özelliği taşıyor.​

        Orta yaşlarına varmış olan Handan ve Korhan çifti İstanbul'un zengin semtlerinden birinde sıradan bir yaşam sürmektedirler. Handan kendine meşguliyet yaratabilmek için sürekli uğraşlar icat etmekte, Korhan'dan da her seferinde destek beklemektedir. Korhan'sa seneler içinde Handan'ın heveslerinin hiç bir yere varmadığını görmüş, bu hevesleri çok ciddiye almamayı öğrenmiştir. Kocasından umduğu desteği bulamayınca içindeki boşluğu doldurmak için yazar olan arkadaşı Şermin'e özenir ve yazarlığa niyet eder. Handan'ın bu arzusu kıskançlığa dönüşerek iki aile arasındaki dengeyi bozmaya başlar.
