    Stockholm Sendromu, 1973 yılında yaşanan absürt bir banka soygununu konu ediyor. Tuhaf bir adam olan Lars Nystrom, şehrin en büyük bankalarından birini soymak için yola koyulur. Elinde silahı ile birlikte bankanın kapısından içeri girmesiyle büyük bir kargaşa meydana gelir. Lars’ın amacı sadece bankadaki paraları almak değildir. Onun, hapisteki en yakın arkadaşının salınması, kendisi için özel bir araç tahsis edilmesi gibi başka istekleri de vardır. Rehineler korkmuş bir şekilde başlarına gelecekleri beklerken bir süre sonrabir takım tuhaflıklar olduğunu fark eder. Rehineler, Lars’ın her ne kadar elindeki silahla onları korkutmaya çalışsa da bir sineğe bile zarar veremeyecek bir yapıda olduğunu anlar.
