        Taksim Hold'em filminde Alper'in nişanlısı cumartesi akşamı evlerinin yakınındalki protestoya katılmak ister ve bunun için Alper'e baskı yapar. Ama o tüm ısrarlara rağmen protestoya katılmayı reddeder. Her hafta yaptıkları gibi evde lise arkadalarıyla toplanıp poker oynacaklardır. Oyuna başlamadan eyleme katılığ katılmamak üzerine bir tartışma başlar. Tam da bu sırada sokakta kargaşa başlamıştır. Alper’in tüm itirazlarına rağmen arkadaşları evin kapısını açıp dışarıdaki insanların eve sığınmasına izin verirler. Alper olaylara karıştırılmak istemediği için bencillikle suçlanır ve yaşananların etkisiyle tartışmalar şiddetlenir.
