        Cemil Ağacıkoğlu'nun yazıp yönettiği Tarla, saplandığı borç batağından çıkmak için ailesinin memleketteki tarlasını satmaya yola koyulan Tarık ile kardeşi Emre'nin hikâyesini anlatıyor.

        Hırsı ve hayalleri yüzünden borç batağına saplanan Tarık'ın evine ve iş yerine gelen hacizle hayatı kararır ve eşi ile ayrılık noktasına gelir. Tefecinin üzerindeki baskısından bunalsa da azmi onu yıldırmaz, sonuna kadar mücadele etmek niyetindedir. Ama her şey onun kontrolünde değildir, sektördeki kriz hesaplarını alt üst eder. Son çare memleketindeki tarladır. Önce çekimser kalan baba annenin telkiniyle ellerindeki yegane tarlayı evlatlarına vermeye karar verirler. Fakat Tarık beklemediği bir sürprizle karşı karşıya kalır. Aile, kardeşi Emre'yi abisine yardım etmesi için İstanbul'a birlikte gitmeleri konusunda ısrarcı davranırlar. Tarık dirense de iki kardeş İstanbul yolundadır.
