No Electricity for the Electric Chair Theater Game
Age Limit: 16+
The story takes place in the midst of an apocalyptic setting with two characters: one sentenced to death in the electric chair and the other who must carry out the sentence. The dialog deals with different themes through a multiple narrative system, a unique stage
experience through a clear, ironic and cynical story. The play explores the concept of freedom through Leonard, the executioner, who represents the system, and the person sentenced to death, who represents the thinking person. By examining this, it examines the concept of "freedom not by running away but by staying" as Socrates said. And he makes us ask the following questions: Do we judge better when we know someone's life? How can one decide what is right when a person acts on his free will and experience without the necessary knowledge? The audience, with their own free will, without knowing the background of the characters, just following the situation and trying to understand it, creates a truth for themselves and rethinks the concept of freedom.
