        Yugoslavya iç savaşında tecavüze uğrayıp hamile kalan Dorra bir yandan bebeğini doğurmayı reddederken bir yandan da yaşama geri dönme yollarını, toplu mezar kazı ekibine psikolojik destek için gönüllü olan Amerikalı psikolog Kate’in yardımı ile arar. Savaşın silahla, bombayla yarattığı yıkımdan daha şiddetli ve vahşet dolu yıkımı, kadının kimliğinin yok edilmesi ve kadın cinselliğinin yeni savaş alanı olarak kullanılmasıdır.
