Sentenced to death, not for murder but for not looking sad enough at his mother's funeral, Meursault prepares for his final speech in front of those who sent him to the guillotine.

In this play, Meursault tells the story of what happened to him for the first and last time: We are in the last of the cells where Meursault, sentenced to death not for murder but for drinking coffee with milk and smoking cigarettes at his mother's funeral, and for shamelessly admitting his immoral behavior, is imprisoned... We are going to witness the last moments of Meursault, who will be beheaded in a few hours in a gigantic square for an example to be made in the name of the French nation, a decision made a few days ago... We, the spectators who were asked to stand up in the courtroom when the verdict was announced, are in front of him for the last time.
