In addition to being a Turkish folk music singer, he is also a philosophy teacher. The artist, who has been interested in music since his childhood years, wrote compositions, lyrics and poems in the field of music, and had the opportunity to introduce these works with a concert in 1985. He began his musical career while still working as a teacher and released his first album, Dağ Türküleri ve Deniz Şarkıları (Mountain Folk Songs and Sea Songs) in 1991. In 2000, he left his teaching profession, which he continued until 2000. The most important feature of the artist, who has made eight albums until today, is that the lyrics and music of the majority of the works in his albums are his own and that these works have been sung by well-known artists in different fields.Nurettin Rençber is now reappearing with his latest album “Lal Resimler”, which consists of 12 new works (except for one work) whose lyrics and music are his own.
